The Asteroids

The Asteroids Having tired of playing in bands, Andrew Lyster bought a reel-to-reel recorder and spent the next couple of years making his 'Moonlight Music For Beginners' ep sound as if it had been recorded for a king's ransom. He discarded as many songs as he completed, all pure gold. In between he recorded the first two Joan Of Arse records. Andrew invested in a fancy new recording set up, moved to Barcelona for a year, then began working on some new songs. After recording new LPs for Capratone and Boxes, he has started work on a new project called The Lamps before he reverts to more Asteroid work.

"A gifted pop auteur in the making. His name is Andrew, by the way. And excuse the cliche, but he is our best kept secret. - D'Side
